You Might Be Wondering

You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

Are you a Physical Therapist?

Nope. I'm not a physical therapist — I'm a movement coach/teacher.

I don’t typically work with people post surgery or who just had an acute injury. That’s where a PT comes in first.

Where I come in is after that. I work with people who are dealing with chronic pains that are holding them back from doing the things they want to do, long-standing mobility and flexibility issues, nagging discomforts that were never fully addressed or weak areas that are lagging behind. I also work alongside physical therapy — some clients see me while they’re currently doing PT elsewhere.

My focus is on restoring movement, rebuilding strength, learning new skills and helping people feel capable and confident in their bodies again.

What makes you different than a Physical Therapist?

I’m not a licensed physical therapist, so I don’t treat recent injuries or post-surgical cases that require clinical rehab. If you're in the early stages of healing or need a medical diagnosis, you should see a PT or your primary care provider first.

That said, I often work alongside PTs as a supplement — helping clients speed up their recovery by helping them move better, get stronger and improve their mobility, or focus on areas that aren’t affected by their injury. Many of my clients are dealing with chronic pain, past injuries that never got fully resolved, or limitations that haven’t responded to traditional approaches.

I also don’t take insurance like a physical therapist would, but many clients have successfully used their HSA or FSA to pay for my services.

But do you work with people in pain?

Yes — In fact, that’s why a lot of people come to see me and the types of clients I love working with. If chronic pain, stiffness, or old injuries are limiting what you can do — whether it’s affecting your workouts, your active lifestyle, your daily life, or just how your body feels — I’ll help you find what’s missing and focus on what your body needs so you can get back to doing what you love.

What sets you apart from a typical Personal Trainer or Strength & Conditioning Coach?

I’m not here to count reps or write cookie-cutter workout programs. My job is to solve problems. I work with people who are limited — by pain, stiffness, old injuries, or movement patterns that just aren’t working anymore — and help them move better, feel better, and do the things they care about.

I don’t follow one method or system. I draw from multiple models, approaches, and schools of thought and tailor everything to the individual in front of me.

My goal isn’t just to help my clients — it’s to raise the standard of care in this industry. That means approaching every session with curiosity, clear intention, and a deep respect for the human in front of me.

What do sessions with you look like?

All sessions are one hour long, and no two look exactly the same — because no two clients are the same. Everything I do is tailored to your goals, your limitations, and your body’s specific needs. Click here to learn more
